For client projects: ownership and intellectual property rights are defined in individual project agreements. Unless otherwise agreed, full ownership of deliverables transfers to the client upon final payment.
Submitting a contact form does not constitute a binding agreement. All projects require a separate written agreement outlining scope, timeline, payment terms, and deliverables before work begins.
Payment terms are defined in individual project agreements. Standard terms include a deposit before work begins and milestone payments throughout the project.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a client cancels a project after work has begun, payment is due for all completed milestones and any work-in-progress up to the cancellation date. Any remaining unfinished scope is forfeited without refund. Specific cancellation and refund terms for each engagement are set out in the corresponding project agreement, which prevails over this general clause.
Recurring services (SEO, marketing, or maintenance retainers) may be cancelled with thirty (30) days' written notice. Pre-paid months are not refunded; service continues through the end of the paid period.
This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Cairn Studio is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website. Liability for project work is limited to the terms of individual project agreements.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
